AFY Haniff Bena & Bekal is fully owned by local Malaysian Bumiputera and have been in Modern Trade Hypermarket for more than 9 years since 2006. This company is expert in making herbal products, specifically Organic Natural Insect Repellent that contain concentrated lemongrass (lemongrass essence) for household usages. The product, which we called as ‘Serai Wangi’ is proven effective as natural without giving any harm to consumers. The first hypermarket that accepted this product is Jusco, followed by Mydin, Giant and Tesco. As the demand for this product increases, we expanded our business networking all over Peninsular Malaysia. In 2014, we entered Sabah market and then to Brunei (2015) and Sarawak (2016). Today, we have gained access to over 1,000 Hypermarket / Supermarket in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei.All in all, the active ingredient in Serai Wangi AFY Haniff (Citronella) is one of God’s blessings― and it is our obligation to explore His gifts for the well-being of humanity. That is the main factor that encouraged us to bring out the potentials of Serai Wangi and broaden its usage in the industry.
